Wards Corner Community Appeal- needs you!The progress of the Wards Corner Community Coalition Judicial Review against LB Haringey's planning committee's decision to demolish Wards Corner and allow the Grainger plan is picking up speed.

Details at http://wardscorner.wikispaces.com/. JR is the highest form of appeal against local authority decisions and is costly as we have to employ highly specialist legal advisors.

Members of WCC have shown tremendous public spirit and applied on our behalf for Legal Aid towards a substantial part of the cost of our JR. The WCC itself will be required to raise around £12,500 over the life of the JR in total. Last month we raised over £5,000 at very short notice to start the JR. We now need to raise another £3,000 to pay our share of work done so far.

WCC are in the process of opening a bank account with the Co-op. If anyone would like to make a financial contribution to assist us (no matter how small the sum) you can contribute to the WCC Fighting Fund either:
