Most free surgeons shred trees. Work asking them, if they will supply your needs

There is some wood chip in the corner of the Hanley tennis club car park off Park Road N8. You are welcome to collect it. It was fly-tipped there a few months ago.

I don’t have a car, so was hoping for something a little nearer the ladder, but will definitely look into these options!
