Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Wanted: paving stones (no matter how few!) and wood for raised bed

We're aiming to pave our small garden to make it more manageable and creat one 2m long raised bed.

We're hoping to do it using reclaimed everything so if you have the odd paving slab or an old gate post/suitable wood please give us a shout. We're in Wood Green (n22 7bt)

I have a few left over decking boards and some other odds and ends of wood (salvaged from a skip, so they will be twice-recycled if you take them!)

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for your offers. Our friend can help between 12 and 1 today (Monday) so we're hoping to do the rounds then. Nick and Ben I know that may not be convenient for you so no worries if not - it was the only time he could help.

chris Brock, where abouts are you and would we be able to come and look/collect between 12 and 1?

Thanks so much for everyone's response. We didn't manage to get to anyone today but may try again soon (not next weekend maybe the next). I'll get in touch when we can get our friend with a van and see if people have stuff still available :)

We've got 4 stone paving stones which are just hanging around the house (it's a shared house, so these things just hang about!) so you're welcome to them if you'd like?

None of us drive, so they would need picking up.

Hi, we also have some leftover paving stones if anyone would like to come and get them. Picture is below. They are Marshalls Fairstone ("quarried and processed to the strict standards of the Ethical Trading Initiative; it ensures no child labour, fair wages and safe working conditions are maintained" - see here for more).
