Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

wanted - good and reasonably priced conveyancing solicitor

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Preferably local-ish so we can visit in person if required.

I highly recommend Paul James. He's at www.fjg.co.uk

He's not local as he's based in Chelmsford. However, you do not need a conveyancing solicitor to be local to where you live as there's no need to visit. He's very efficient and his fees are reasonable.

I'd recommend Gelbergs in Islington for conveyancing. http://www.gelbergs.co.uk/. They were quite reasonably priced and also gave us some good advice. Within visiting distance (and we did have to visit on a number of occasions, eg. to drop off documents at short notice, meet with our solicitor once or twice, etc).

My solicitor, Monica Healy, whose office is opposite Hornsey Police Station is a lovely and very experienced solicitor. Everyone in my family has used her for conveyancing.
