I found this earlier today, please let me know if you know him. Cards but no cash.

Have reported it to the police (but told they don't deal with 'lost property' if below £500 in value!!).

Call their bank/credit card company?

Thanks, I've done that, though I wasn't completely clear from what they said whether the bank proactively gets in touch with the person themselves.
