Volunteer Mentoring Opportunities

The following appeal for volunteer mentors hit my inbox this week:

Equal Approach works in the diversity and equality arena and is recognised as a market leader in our field. Through our unique approach we’re able to create a level playing field for all.

As part of our commitment to the sector we are currently working with the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation (MBF) to develop an inspiring support package, called Mentoring for Success, for disabled and disadvantaged individuals, including those with long term health conditions.

Therefore, we’re looking to recruit approximately 500 volunteer mentors and befrienders across the UK, to support disadvantaged individuals. These individuals may require specific support in developing their life skills, or support in finding and sustaining employment.

Our volunteering roles provides a rewarding and inspiring opportunity to a wide range of individuals from all walks of life - be it creating a unique experience to enhance your career opportunities, develop new skills, build your CV, or just for your own personal satisfaction.
