Virgin are putting up the price for my broadband and TV by over £3 - I'm pretty sure they did the same last year as well. I don't get my phone service from them, although it would probably be cheaper, as I prefer not having all my eggs in one basket.
I wonder how they justify this second large price increase, given that they are one of the companies accused of not paying much tax in this country?

threaten to leave and they might give you a better deal. they did last time we said we were considering switching.
Is that 10% or thereabouts? Inflation is 2.6% I think and shows no signs of slowing (and you thought the houses were expensive now) but 10% is quite steep. Agree with Elle, they're still the fastest but plenty of people now do fast enough.
Result! After complaining to someone in a call-centre who couldn't even pronounce the name of the company (Warghin Midja?) I was put thought to Customer Relations, who offered to refund the entire next year's price rise of £3.15/month as a "goodwill gesture". Glad I bothered to make the call.
