Have any other roads on the ladder had Virgin Media internet issues since Weds 12th Oct (and full outage on Weds 19th Oct & 20th Oct full issue)? The lower half of Allison Rd (Green Lanes end) has experienced intermittent internet issues since the planned work on Wednesday 12th Oct and there's been quite a bit of chat on our road's WhatsApp group so I was just wondering if same conversations are happening in parallel on other road's groups?
I've spoken to Virgin Media customer service this morning and there's some cable upgrading going on in the area?... which is causing the drop outs apparently, but they don't seem to be able to give a time frame :( has anyone else been able to glean more information or a time line for this work? Although the customer service woman I spoke to was sympathetic her only advice was to track down the engineers working on the Green Lanes exchange and ask them!

I'm at Chettle Court (look over the railway to you) adn had problems with Virgin las week that they blamed onto me . Was without TV for a week. have written strong letter of complaint. I'm very unhappy with their service
I’m with sky and they are rubbish. Was thinking of changing to virgin to get better Wi-Fi, but clearly not a good plan
For those Virgin Media customers on Allison Road, this is the latest update from Virgin Media fault team...
There's a platform outage and it requires an engineer to take apart the omnibox (like the phone exchange?), which is a big job apparently, and their estimated fix time is Weds 9th November at 10am. To qualify for automatic compensation and to receive updates on the fix you need to call them and register the fault against your account. Ph 0345 454 1111
