Views on the current status of Noel Park Primary

We're currently looking at primary schools for our son who's starting next September. I'm aware of the general situation of it being forced to become an academy, but is there anyone out there whose children go, who can give their opinions on how they find it? In particular, how the transition to being an academy is affecting their children's education.
