We tried the lunchtime buffet at Indika for the first time today and were really impressed. They do about eight different dishes - a lamb, a chicken, a vegetable curry, chana dahl, vegetable pakora, bread, rice.
Because it's so cheap we weren't expecting much. Well, what a nice surprise we had. We both thought it was really yummy and we both went back for second helpings. Two thumbs up!
A very nice surprise. Definitely going back.

I think the food is lovely at Indika - fresh and light, rather than oily like a lot of Indian food in the UK.
Thanks Hugh. Is the buffet available at weekends?
(and it's dhal imo!)
I will definitely give them a go, thank you for the tip!
Sounds good. Will give it a try.
What counts as cheap? Less than a fiver per head? Or does Brexit inflation bring it up to less than a tenner per head?
Under a tenner per head counted as cheap for decent food well before Brexit, in my view.
I think that after a short experiment thye've stopped this. Shame because it was very tasty.
That is a shame....
