Hello Harringay Online!
I'm in trouble. It seems like the fire alarm in the common corridor of our house (divided into flats) is running out of battery. All my neighbors are gone for Christmas. Unfortunately the ceiling is too high, or I'm too short to reach it on a chair, for me to be able to change the battery.
I don't know what to do! Can I borough your ladder tomorrow, just a few minutes! I'm begging you, the constant bip of the alarm is driving me crazy!
Thanks for your help, and Merry Christmas!
Elise.

I leave on Duckett road, N4 1BJ. I've got a car, I'm happy to come and one up wherever, at the earliest! (the bipping is intensifying now!)
Ok, 'got a stepladder, just tall enough. I've managed to changed the battery but now... it's the one from my neighbord (away) whose bipping ! Joy. Few more nights without sleep and they should be back...!
