Unused BA Airmiles - Give them to a friend

I just got the following message from BA. I wondered if other HoL members were aware. People could offer theirs to other HoL members if they're not going to use them. (No, I'm not asking for myself!).

"Do you have a family member or friend who'd like to take a reward flight, but are still some BA Miles short?

Now’s the best time to transfer some of your BA Miles to them. Because from 21 July to 31 August 2010 we’ll add a 25% BA Miles bonus, which they can use right away.

Just a few things to remember. You can transfer up to 19,000 BA Miles in multiples of 1,000 and the recipient must be an Executive Club member. You can only transfer your BA Miles online and a transfer BA Miles fee will be charged.

So why not share your BA Miles with someone right now? With our added 25% BA Miles bonus, they could soon be on that reward flight or, at least, a lot closer ."
