do you have an old typewriter? I've found a typewriter engineer Tom Lucas,(email:enquiries@thetypewriterman.co.uk) not local but able to repair and replace parts even for obsolete standards my grandchildren can now enjoy my portable for as little as £6 for a new ribbon!!!

I no longer have a typewriter and miss the wonderful simplicity of tapping out a few words, wirelessly, in the sure knowledge there is no key to press by mistake that would send it winging around the world to every Tom, Dick and Harry. It's just for you yourself - and the grandchildren looking over your shoulder of course. Pleased yours is still going strong, thanks to Mr Typewriter Man!
