Two people under train on Piccadilly Line this weekend

A person died after being hit by a train at Finsbury Park Tube station yesterday morning.

The incident is the second of its kind on the Piccadilly Line over the weekend, with a person taken to hospital yesterday after being hit by a train at Wood Green Tube station at 4.30pm on Saturday.

Sunday's incident happened at 8.10am and the police do not consider it to be suspicious.

Service between Kings Cross and Arnos Grove was disabled until 9am and travel continues to be affected by severe delays through the morning.
