Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

New London website TubeCrush styles itself as a website:

where your chance encounter from the tube line can be shared on-line.......to pay 'Homage to the Hommes' on our infamous transportation infrastructure. The premise is simple: 'See, Snap, Share'. See a crush, discretely snap him with your phone or if you're brave enough ask him to pose for you! Send your pic to us with your name (or alias), name of the tube line and the time you were travelling to share the guy candy with our many online followers.

Does the Piccadilly Line have it or does the Victoria take the day? Good taste or bad?

Men don't get het up about it.

Feel free :-)

Move along now ! Nothing to see here !
I get the impression that it's men taking the photos. And I don't think it's meant to be very serious. But what do I know. Sordid, creepy and totally unacceptable. Phone the (transport) police.

I am amused because it is just the teensiest bit the campest thing I've ever seen!

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen a hot guy on the tube :(  I'm always pressed up against some sweating businessman in a bri-nylon suit who forgot to pop a breath mint.

And that's my husband.  Boom tish. No I'm joking, he is hot.

Ahem...  Surely your friendly Piccadilly Line BTP officers must register somewhere?
Ah yes, I do apologise - it's the uniforms!
Sordid.
Hol is a really good website
Creepy.

More seriously than my previous response, taking photos of other passengers could potentially lead to the committal of a railway byelaw offence, namely byelaw 6 (8) "No person shall molest or wilfully interfere with the comfort or convenience of any person on the railway".  This does not necessarily mean that taking a photo of someone is a crime, but what happens if you are spotted taking the picture and the subject of your photo does not want you to put their picture on the internet for the world to see?  I think this could lead to arguments and disagreements.

Plus, as Anne and Jen have already pointed out, I don't think it's ok to photograph men without their knowledge or permission, when doing the same to a female could count as harassment.

Do noisy headphones and music being played without headphones come under this jurisdiction?

Or the chap who is either too self important or who has such a serious condition of/wish to draw the publics attention to his nuts, that they have to splay their legs wide enought to take up three seats?

Want to get really hot under the collar? Look who just followed our HoLTubeUpdates profile. Don't click on the picture if you're liable to episodes of rage.
