Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Following last week's "tree falling into our garden from Railway Fields" incident, we now have three badly damaged trees and a fourth ex tree stump to deal with.  Can anyone recommend a good tree surgeon...?

I once used these (www.thorstrees.co.uk)- reasonable quotes, no issues. Jon

Totally recommend Steve Hooper. Used them several times.  Based in Haringey

Totallly professional.  Years of experience.

Clears up and takes everything away afterwards

Shouldn't the council be responsible for restoring the damage to your garden, Antoinette? Mind you, I'm not sure I'd describe the men who were in Railway Fields the other day as 'tree surgeons', more like a couple of guys with chainsaws...

I'm having to put in a claim against Haringey's insurance so I have to provide costs as pat of my claim.  The fun part will be proving that the Council has been negligent in some way...ie in their maintenance of said tree.  Like I'm knowledgeable on these things.....

They should do a proper safety survey of the tree as it could still be unstable.

I also recommend Steve Hooper, we used his services this January, all done professionally.
