When Carol Morley read about Joyce Vincent's tragic, unnoticed death in her Wood Green bedsit, the British director made it her mission to uncover the truth and discover what this meant for modern life in the city. The result was Dreams of a Life.
After a whirlwind of a journey, including sell out London Film Festival screenings, an eleven week West End run and screenings in Wood Green, Dreams of a Life is now on iTunes and DVD, on the Dogwoof DVD Shop and at Amazon.
To thank Harringay for their support at the recent Wood Green screening, film distributor Dogwoof have given Harringay Online two copies of the DVD for HoL members. Since I never got the hand of that bread and fishes thing, the fairest thing to do is to offer them in a draw.
