Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

... cleaning of sewers, ... namely the one that follows Harringay Passage for some of the way. This maintenance happens every year or two but normally in the middle of the night. The pipe I was told is 1.2m x 0.8m, large enough to handle some Christmas whoppers ☺ Some serious kit;

And still they work, taking days apparently to clean out this main sewer. This section only including from Falkland to Lausanne Rd. They even send a man down there, about 3 metres underground. The work is very noisy, esp if you live right by the passage.
