Totally - I used to read the IHT when I lived in the US and often read NYT now that I am in the UK. The quality of writing, breadth of coverage and balance of opinion is unrivalled here. That being said, Grauniad does break some excellent news it is far too biased on some aspects...

Sweeping statements like that are to be quite honest, amusing. What a bubble you all must live in. Just because it's the only stuff you can understand, doesn't mean it's the best in the world.  There are for instance, very good journalists in Turkey, South America & Malta, where one recenty paid with her life.
