Tottenham artists exhibit at Hornsey Library

I popped in to the Hornsey Library today and saw a worthwhile exhibition by a new Tottenham based group called Art 2 View.

Art2View is a group of amateur and professional artists based in Tottenham. Members of the group work in a range of styles from photography and sculpture, to painting in oil, acrylic and water colour.

Some members of the group have been professional artists for many years whilst others have been met through council run art classes.

The idea behind Art2View was to address a recognised lack of facilities for local artists to exhibit their work and network together in the east of the borough.

Members of Art2View generate their own income for their projects. There is no external funding to the group.

The group also run art classes at Bruce Castle and I have invited them to post details here on HoL.
