Refill shopping
The TOPUP truck is a refill shop that delivers groceries at the same time every week or two weeks for customer to either refill their own containers or receive groceries in paper bags/recycled jars if you're in a hurry.
It comes to Langham Road, N15 on a Sunday at 11.45am every two weeks. The next slot is this Sunday 15th Aug.
They do other delivery slots in Haringey, but you would need to contact them to find out the days/times.
I'm posting this because I've been shopping with them for a few months now and their service makes it so easy to shop plastic free, no lugging containers around.

This is cool - having a look at their website now but everything is done by weight so was just wondering, how do you find the price of things compared to supermarket prices?
Glad to hear you're interested :)
Yes, it can be a bit of a challenge to compare prices, I guess you could start with the products come in weights that are easy to remember like pasta usually comes in packets of 500g from the super market.
But other products you would have to look up the weight or check the packets in your cupboard.
And remember when you are comparing that most of the products the Topup sells (and other refill stores) are usually organic, and for example the olive oil is extra virgin etc.
A different refill store (Kilo, in Holloway road) did this supermarket comparison for their products, if that's any help?
