From today's Times:
"Cleggmania is expected to have a huge impact on the local council elections being held on the same day as the general election, with the Liberal Democrats taking control of several London councils and winning dozens of seats across England.
In London alone the Lib Dems could take control of four or five councils, which would make them the second largest local government party in the capital for the first time.
These could include Haringey, now a Labour council, and Camden, Islington, Brent and Southwark, which are all hung councils. They will, however, all be tight and local factors may take precedence on the night."
