Time for new Kitchen- Help
Hello-
I would like to refit my kitchen in Feb-March this year. I am unable to find anyone -having real difficulty in finding any building firm who will return calls/do an actual quote/wants to so work etc-need to find someone who can do kitchen and all building associated works- please. Any recommendations gratefully received.

Not sure from your post if your job if predominately a kitchen fit or the associated building work. However, my starting point for all building work is David O'Doherty, you can get him on 07830119421. He's done some great work for me and many others in Haringey. He works with a superb carpenter who did a brilliant job fitting my kitchen a few years ago.
However because they are so popular and were booked up I had to look elsewhere recently for a built in wardrobe, block shelving and a built in cupboard. I came across another excellent carpenter called Andreas (07922576292), I can't vouch for his kitchen fitting ability but he did a great job for me and I expect a decent carpenter would fit kitchens. He was also very good price wise, work calling him. Good luck.

We contracted David to do some extensive construction work on our house last year that included a kitchen re-model and re-fit and he and his team did a fantastic job. Not only was the standard of work great but David was so easy to deal with - upfront about everything, so there were no hidden surprises, and he also came in on time and budget. Highly recommend.

it is predominately a kitchen fit and the associated building work in making good the the kitchen because of previous experiences from builders leaving me out there

Hi - Momchil Ivanoc at Simabuild did our kitchen just over a year ago - and he is coming back to do our bathroom this year. He is a plumber by trade (so he knows his stuff), and runs a team of brilliant tradesmen who care about the finish, are lovely to have around, and don't take the piss on cost. Unlike other recommended on HoL. One oft-recommended builder on HoL was a full 80% more expensive on a job I asked him to quote that the people I ended up going with.
He is busy, and we waited three months for them to start the kitchen, but communication was fantastic. I always knew exactly what was going on when. No fee up front. Fixed fee - all the things you are told to do.
