YMCA North London’s annual Crouch End Fun Run & Festival is this weekend with sporting events and a festival of food and entertainment.
The programme for the day includes 10 racing events – 1 Adult 10k and 9 Children’s 1 mile races. The day kicks off with the Adult 10k race, which starts at 09.30, with over a thousand adult runners, heading over the start line.
The Festival runs all day and has a wide variety of food, fun and music for all the family. The Festival Bar is a recent feature, and is set up and run by Andy James, of Moors Bar.
This year the Music Stage will be hosting Live DJ act ‘Stick It On’, who will provide entertainment all day, enabling Festival goers to become DJ stars for the day! Described by Time Out Magazine “ Stick It On, a national phenomenon, as for 15 minutes ordinary folk get to play their favourite tunes to titanic reactions from a party loving crowd” – so don’t miss out, come along, don’t be shy and have some fun joining in with their musical action
Children will be fully entertained with everything from Fun Fair rides to face painting, something for all ages. There will be retail stalls, as well as community and charity stalls from the local area.
