Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We are swapping houses in August 3-16th with a Spanish family. They have been to London before so know the usual tourist stuff. They would like to know of any artisan or antique markets locally or stuff to do with a 7 year old girl. All ideas most welcome.

For the 7 year old, and depending on their grasp of English, the Railway Children at Kings Cross is very entertaining.

On Saturdays Broadway Market has expanded to the Schoolyard Market and Netil Market with plenty of artisan and food stalls. Netil House has a very good roof terrace - Netil 360, Very easy to get to from Seven Sisters. Easy then to explore east London - canal, Brick Lane, Olympic Park...etc.

Yeah to further this thread the Olympic Park is a left turn off the Regents Canal onto the Hertford Union Canal up to the Lea Navigation at Hackney Wick. The park looks particularly good at the moment.

You can follow the Regents Canal all the way to Limehouse.
