Theft of catalytic converter from hybrid Toyota cars
this is just a warning that a gang are going around the ladder roads and stealing the catalytic converter from the underside of Toyota Prius and other hybrid cars. They can do this very quickly, in a few minutes, and tend to be in a gang of three - one in a car, one lifting up the car, one going underneath and cutting off the elements they want. It’s happened to us - middle of the day - and the AA say it’s prevalent. So look out for it and be vigilant. It’s a real pain/ expense to fix. And they must be going up and down the roads looking for new victims all the time.

Seems to be happening All over the Area
Aware a few near me have had theirs removed
Noticed a team a few weeks ago doing it to a Land Rover had look outs . Was away in minutes
Reason I drive a clapped out old Taxi, does me for shopping trips etc
Can not understand how they can sell them on being aware they are not traceable. But dealers must be aware stolen. As they normally drive over them and totally flatten them
