I finally got myself up to The Westbury Pub earlier this evening and met landlady Lizzie (good to meet you Lizzie).
I had a nice spot of Redemption and was impressed with the job the owners have done of the pub - a nice environment both inside and out. I didn't eat but notice fish and chips on the menu. That's now on the to do list.
Anyone else been? What do you think?

I was there a couple of weeks ago Hugh. It's nicely done up and worth a visit.
Thanks Sarah. I think I know it but it's a bit too far for me to stagger ( and that's me going there )
Nice beer and Redemption is very affordable. (fyi you can buy a party box direct from the brewery in Tottenham) I can't recommend the weekday food, unless they've made some changes. Sunday roast pretty good tho. The veg/nut roast is good. Lots of tables reserved on Sunday but mostly for mid afternoon. If you don't like little children running around then Sunday pm may not be for you as they are child friendly...I confess that I find them adorable...
I really like the Westbury – they’ve done a great job kitting it out, friendly staff, loads of good choice on the drinks front, food is decent value for money, and most importantly it’s a two minute walk from home, rather than a 15 minute walk down to Harringay. A very welcome addition to the area. Agree with the comments about kids on a Sunday – it’s great for those of us with children, but if you’re a bit buggy-averse, you might want to give it a swerve on Sunday lunchtimes!
Hugh,
You got me excited for a minute - for some strange reason i thought this was a re development picture plan for the old pub at the top of green lanes towards wood green that was converted into a turkish furniture shop DOGTAS EXCLUSIVE. It really does look similar and because i saw a sign on the ex pub "all enquires" i though its possibly up for sale.
