The O'Callaghan Submission

ON FRIDAY, Mr. Jacob O'Callaghan put in – via the council planning portal – his comments and partial objection in relation to an aspect of the huge Alexandra Palace planning application (Consultation Comment #47).

I've attached the PDF below ("FAO Planning Officer").

Those with longer memories will recall that in 2007 – and on behalf of the Save Ally Pally group – Mr O'Callaghan was the Claimant in the successful High Court action against the Charity Commission, over the attempted sale of Alexandra Palace by the Council.

(The Commission – heavily under the influence of Council – had given permission to Haringey to sell Alexandra Palace. The Court case hinged on the (lack of-) quality of the Commission's public consultation).

Further back in the history of Ally Pally, Mr. O'Callaghan successfully argued for a Grade II Listing status.
