Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Gospel Centre Food bank update and Haringey's Good Economy Plan

September has seen  number of clients return to us and we have just had our busiest ever session last Tuesday, despite the increasing dark of the evenings.

There is now a Haringey Food Network Co-ordinator. She is Sam Foster, who is based at the Bridge Renewal Trust and will facilitate training and cooperation between groups as well as sustainability solutions to the food situation locally.  The Council continue to be involved and have recently published a 'recovery economic plan' including one for the High street. More information can be found at https://www.haringey.gov.uk/business/haringey-s-good-economy-recove...

We continue to receive supplies from the Hornsey food hub and fresh food from 'Organising for London's Homeless'. However, there are quite a few things which we cannot collect which we would be very grateful for donations from local members of the public on this site. They are cereals, tins of fruit, meat, biscuits, washing and cleaning materials

Many thanks

Hi Dexter,

Where and when can we donate?

Hi,

As previous it is The Gospel Centre N8 0LT. We are opposite the Wightman Road mosque. Our entrance is via the top buzzer during the week Monday , Wednesday / Thursday 9.30am -2pm and Friday 9.30-12 (1pm today only). Otherwise when the food bank is open from Tuesday 5.30-8.30pm and Sunday 10.30-1pm - press bottom buzzer.

Many thanks,
