The food bank delivering in a 'storm'

Well, the New Year has bought us all challenges. While the virus 'rages' the Gospel Centre Food Bank (N8 0LT) has continued to deliver and we have had one of our busiest ever weeks. We have more people who are new to us, some from outside our immediate area. In contacting other local food banks it seems the are busy too.

We endeavour to get to know our visitors by more than just recognising them and knowing their name. This of course is effected by social distancing, but where we can we will 'signpost' them to services. Recently, we have been promoting the Healthy Start vouchers, which are available to families of under 5's. More details can be found on the Council website.

Recent additions for our service is a new external canopy over the front door to Transform House. Also, we have now have a food bank phone number where we can receive messages. We also have a facebook page
