The Big Issue to host big festival in Finsbury Park

The anniversary concert promises to bring together a line-up of big name music acts in front of a crowd of around 30,000, on Saturday, September 3.

It is hoped a full line up, acts who will be paid only for their expenses, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Organisers say the festival is part of a year of celebrations for the charity, who have signed a £50,000 contract with the Hillgrove PR firm to promote the event.

The charity still needs to apply for a licence from Haringey Council to stage the Finsbury Park event.
