TFL - E-mail address and telephone number for reporting issues on main roads

This may be useful to some people if you want to report any issues direct to TFL for their main roads.
I have reported the Pelican Crossing Lights out again today at the junction of Salisbury Road and St Ann's Road to LBHC -they were out last week as well and have been fixed once already.

Michael at LBHC informed me that there is an e-mail address to report any TFL issues direct.
You can report anything from
i.e.

potholes
faulty traffic lights
abandoned vehicles
damaged or missing signs.

on any TFL main road.

e-mail:
LONDONSTREETS@tfl.gov.uk

Or Tel:
0845 305 1234. ( Note: 0845 number)

State in your e-mail or call
Location of the problem?
What the problem is ?

If its very urgent I would suggest writing URGENT in the trap line in your e-mail?
hope this helps

Very helpful, Andy. Timely reports from residents are essential to get these faults repaired as quickly as possible.

And I hope people won't forget a camera or cameraphone for situations where it's especially helpful for TfL staff to see a snap or even a short video of the problem. Thanks to Joanne McCartney, TfL are currently reconsidering their block on staff viewing photos and video on websites such as Flickr.
