Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Terrible traffic

I spent an hour and a half failing to drive to a friend's the other side of Stoke Newington tonight - every single route was solid with traffic, buses were diverted, lots of people doing U-turns, nothing moving in any direction. Eventually I gave up, and - with a bit of difficulty - made my way home again.

Anybody have an idea what was happening?

Temporary traffic lights failed at Green Lanes/Brownswood - stuck on red, totally blocked for hours.

Any idea what happened? I tried to go to Westfield yesterday but had to turn around and come back home after sitting in traffic for 2 hours

Also a traffic light failure in Stoke Newington - sounds like a whole conglomeration of things that cause utter mayhem.
