
On 10th July 2010 thousands of people will transform central London into a giant open air stage for an unmissibale, show stopping dance on a gigantic scale, with the start line at Southbank Centre and the finishing line at Trafalgar Square.
The day is part of the
Big Dance, billed as "the most incredible celebration of dance London has ever seen!".
There are two ways to participate:
1. Take Part in the Dance!
If you want to be one of the thousands of people involved in the Big World Dance event in London on 10th July 2010 just sign up at
danceatlas.org.
You'll also need to register at a local Big Dance hub to learn a unique dance created by famous choreographer Luca Silvestrini/
2. Volunteer to support the event
They need "dynamic and enthusiastic volunteers" to help by performing a variety of tasks from welcoming and directing participants at Southbank Centre, leading and supporting participants along the route and then helping to manage participants inside Trafalgar Square for the main dance performance.
Volunteers will be needed from 9:30am until approximately 3:30pm. A lunch will be provided and all volunteers will be given a t-shirt.
