Subject: FW: LBH/2418513: Inquiry into bonuses paid to Homes for Haringey Repairs staff
Dear Cllr Stanton
In respect of your enquiry below, I can confirm that the investigation is ongoing.
Once they have concluded, I will have to consider with HR colleagues what information I can release as some will be covered by data protection legislation.
Best wishes,
Head of the Chief Executive’s Office
Company Secretary, Homes for Haringey
Thanks Alan,
A case of do as little as possible and hope the impudent residents will give up ?
Or perhaps a case of investigating the allegations and - if evidence of wrongdoing is found - following a fair disciplinary process that stands up to legal challenge?
Except Allan, the Heatherwick will come down after a couple of months.
wha???
i presume these are there to let the residents of the flats get TV signals.
you want to make a petition to stop other people getting a TV signal because the satellite dishes on THEIR property offends you as you gaze out from the Arena car park?
would you like someone to stop you getting TV in your house because they don't like your ariel or your cable box is offensive to their eyes?
how often are you stood in the Arena carpark looking in that direction anyway?
have you nothing better to do?
Hold on folks, all they need to do is stick the dishes on the roof rather than on the wall. and then remove them when they move out.I don't think anyone is asking people not to watch TV. The dishes are plain ugly and needn't be situated on the wall. Kinda lame perhaps, but also kinda making the area look nicer.
Apologies if that's also lame :)
This. It's perfectly easy for a professional to install a satellite dish on a roof. We watch TV via satellite and the dish is invisible from street level.
It's also untrue that estate agents won't remove their boards. If nobody complains about it then of course they won't remove them...
I've complained to Paul Simon many times and the response is always less than polite - along the lines of Andy H's " have you nothing better to do ? ". The one on Alroy Rd is still there after seven years.
In our case, Freesat - but we had the dish put in by an independent company that did aerial and dish installations - just the first local one we rang up. Definitely no quibble over putting it on the roof. Perhaps particular networks have different rules...
