Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Sydney Road residents are frustrated that their views are not being collectively considered. The first road on the ladders next to Turnpike Lane station facing Ducketts Common we are in the forefront of nuisance noise, Illicit drug activity, rat-runs for cars and the dumping of rubbish amongst other ongoing concerns.

No community consultation was sort by the council for agreeing to the change of use to a  mosque Taiba  (the second for Sydney Rd) in what  was the residents community centre at the junction of Willoughby Rd and Sydney.  Many residents are annoyed with this decision particularly with the  squalor and rubbish in the front. The council have stated that the extension to the end of terrace house, is illegal and must be pulled down. No time scale has been given.

If you are concerned about Sydney Road and the Turnpike Lane area please come to our meeting. Date shortly to be confirmed,

Hi Ann

I am very sorry I won't be able to make the meeting tonight. I still want to be involved and am happy to take part in any actions required/decided upon in this evenings meeting.

Kind regards

Sophie

"Ladders" unified? Is this a window cleaners union being set up locally. Surely, you don't mean the Ladder?
