Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

I am looking to improve my front crawl technique and wonder if anyone knows or can recommend a Swimming coach? I emailed the pools in the area but none of them got back to me.

Many thanks

I 2nd londonfields as a great pool and also does private lessons I think. Although yes their swim doctor sessions are very good group lessons. For peeps wanting to work on their technique

I also have a friend who does swim coaching. If you are interested message me. But think she uses the Hackney pools. ie London fields. I'm not even sure what pools there are in haringay

yes why not thanks. I have emailed several suggestions that came on here and no feedback yet. bizarre, swimming coaches must be busy in London!

Hi - to those who don't seem to be aware, there is a fab 50metre Lido in Crouch End at Park Road pools. It's just reopened after being closed since December to be mended. It's also a proper Lido (has to have a grassed / lawn area to be considered one).

The opening times are a bit annoying as they do sessions to get people in and out to make money: but for those who are interested in the lane swimming, it's opening early morning and in the evenings and it's gorgeous.

Do check on the website for the times as they are always changing them. http://www.fusion-lifestyle.com/centres/park-road-pools-fitness/tim...

Not sure if they teach swimming in the pool 121 but I have seen triathlon teams practising.

thanks for that. if you are ever there again and get a chance to speak to someone about a trainer, please let me know. cheers, m
