summary of criticisms of Police IPCC & Homes for Haringey

I have been labouring on my Siege of Kolbergrad for several weeks now.

I thought I had best summarise criticisms made.

1. of Tottenham Police.

(a) pretty useless & provocative nature of the Police station.

Incites riots by its very existence & fails to investigate crime.

(b) base for C19 armed response unit whose success in shooting dead Mark Duggan triggered national riots. 

(c) IPCC Rachel Cerfontyne came to Tottenham in the wake of the riots & promised a full & transparent investigation.

This has not happened & could never happen. "None of the 11 firearms officers @ the scene of the Duggan shooting who were asked to attend interview have answered oral questions from the IPCC, instead supplying written answers. The officer who shot Duggan known as V53 declined to answer questions orally, instead submitting written answers two days later..." (Guardian 3/08/13)

2. Of Homes for Haringey.

Its development plan for the Tottenham Hale area resulted in six months of disruption & noise & as a direct consequence local residents are now facing losing their homes. Those who exercised right to buy in blocks & roads where Homes for Haringey sent in their  heavies are now required to produce sums varying between £25,000 to £11,000 to pay for work they never ordered. One resident has had to put his house on market as a result. Right to buy residents now threatened with losing their properties but are terrified  to speak out for fear of Council reprisals.

Conclusion so far: Tottenham Hale is a failed state betrayed by Haringey Council & the Police.
