Can anyone recommend a structural engineer whom they have used? I have discovered a massive crack between the wall and the loft extension, it was picked up by a roofer who came to look at my guttering. I would be very grateful if you can recommend from your own personal experience. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Allie, we have used Ender of arch architecture for a number of things. 078 4241 0527. Ben
Hi Ben, I'm looking for a structural engineer too. I tried to find Arch Architecture online but couldn't. Do you have a website address by any chance? Thanks JP
thanks!
They are based up on St anns, formally of chesterfield gardens. Ender is a real local and knows these houses well.
Hi Allie,
I can wholeheartedly recommend Ulas
https://ulasplanning.co.uk/structural
Based in Hackney and extremely helpful. I used him for two house projects in the last three years.
(His web site is a bit random but he was great!) Dealt with all the problems I had with builders, Thames Water and Haringey Council's Building Regs Inspectors
I have used David Oates from Halstead Associates at
1 Athenaeum Road, Whetstone, London N20 9AA
Tel: +44 (0) 208 445 7721
Call through the main office number.
Many thanks everyone, for recommendations. Much appreciated. Allie
Probably a bit late but we can highly recommend John Leaper of Leaper & Co - 078 3113 5285 / leaperco@btconnect.com
We used him to assess the structural implications and make conditions for work the top flat wanted to do in our shared house - competent and professional and a very nice man to boot. He doesn't have a website, just works through personal recommendations (we got him through our lawyer), but don't let that put you off - he does a good job!
(His hourly rate is less than our local surveyor who we chose not to use so I think his prices are comparable!)
