Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We would need some advice, please!

A structural engineer we used previously seems incredibly slow (maybe snowed under with work) and we seem to spend our time contacting him without getting any answer.  He was associated with an architect, so we would need the full package, please!

If you know anyone reliable (and reasonably priced!), we will be very grateful.

Thanks a lot in advance!

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know anyone personally in the area and unfortunately I am not yet fully qualified.

But you can visit the Royal Institute of British Architects website to seek advice when appointing an architect and there is a directory of registered professionals.

Note today and tomorrow is open house weekend. If you can find local properties near you, you might be able to speak with architects and find good engineering contacts.

Are you able to speak more about the issues you face? Is the project on site? Or is it at tender stage? Your architect should be in contact with him as your head consultant.

Hi - I'd be happy to talk it over - feel free to give us a call on 07779 727547. I'm an architect living in crouch end,

Cem from sketchse was great and was really quick to respond to our queries.
we called him mid project as we ran into trouble with the structural engineer we had employed and needed a second opinion.
his rates are also very reasonnable.

Try this property and ask for Kerem of A2 Studio Architects. Locally based and completed loft conversion at property in Warwick Gardens N4.
