Amongst whatever else it's the day for, 2nd November is National Stress Awareness Day. (It seems like every day of the year is a day for something these days. Why, it's enough to stress you out.)
But, hush, let me resist the temptation to take the Mick and acknowledge that it's a serious issue for an increasing number of people.
So a couple of stress links:
- a stress test on the NHS Choices site
- a brief overview and some links on the BBC Health site.
And, here's a course a local NHS course on managing stress. (If you look around the website, helps is on offer for lots of other stuff too).
Thanks to Cognitive Hypnotherapist Kirsty Hanly for tipping me the wink about the stress day

Hugh, you're not referring to the anniversary of the start of television broadcasting at Alexandra Palace 75 years ago, are you?
Hugh to my shame,I didn't know about world telly day.
Observance
I'm not entirely convinced by the blurb on the site that "The United Nations’ (UN) World Television Day is annually observed in many places around the world on November 21.", unless watching Coronation Street etc. counts ...
BBC Studio A at Alexandra Palace will be open to the public on the weekend of 5 and 6 November and demand is expected to be heavy. There will also be an exhibition in the Transmitter hall (to the left of the BBC Tower).
Stressed? Try spelling it backwards - there's your answer
Just ones, I hope Pam, not just sweet afters.
