Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

[South End of the Ladder]

An old and quite bedraggled looking lady came to the door yesterday, said she was a ‘neighbour’ (I had never seen her before) asked if I could charge her phone for her. She was holding what looking like a very old Nokia attached to the charger, holding the plug in the air.

She said another neighbour of mine usually does it but they weren’t in and she said that they said to try us if they weren’t in. I was dealing with a family issue at the time and said no.

Does anyone know her or have had her come to their door?

I was worried she may be someone’s relative/neighbour who has dementia or due to another health issue, is unable to put a plug in a socket and someone usually helps her out and hoping not something more sinister (although I have heard of a similar scenario used as a ploy for gang members to get into your house).

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Many Thanks.

We also had 2 pints of milk nicked this morning, which I am hoping is purely coincidental...
