I use Safestore on Mayes Road in Wood Green and have a good experience with them - i've used them for many years.

Most of these companies operate some kind of offer to customers, especially new customers - i remember when i joined Safestore, they had an offer that they would beat anyone else's price within a certain radius - For me, it was really worth the time i spent finding cheaper companies and then going with the company that suited me most. At the time, there was some cheaper shabbier storage around the back of Shelbourne Road N17 which Safestore price-matched.

You might also try the places behind Ikea - i imagine that they are probably fairly cheap.
