You can get some more ideas by doing a google image search on lantern making, there is this guide from 2012 olympics, this video, or here for a simple one, or just bring along a torch maybe with something coloured taped on it. We've lots of left over materials from the workshops if anyone is really keen.

Or if thats all too hard we have some spare ones left over from the workshops which we'll bring along to Fairland Park so pick up one of those.

Great, I've bought some pretend flickering candles so I just need to make some lanterns now, the children are very excited.
