That's what I call planning.
I went along to Hornsey station to watch it go through. You could hear it from a long way off and it was quite atmospheric.
Yes, I was at Harringay, there was something special in its being night-time. It looked to be working quite hard, the sound - as you say - was particularly evocative. Might pop back later when it's back up at Ferme Park.
Booo - missed it. She'll be coming back on the 29th April at about 7.35am / 9.50pm according to the site.

Her big bro, 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, will be through on the 17th June at approx 9.35am / 8.25pm.

(all times based on 5 minutes after leaving Kings Cross - better early than late)

Never NEVER did I think that I would be getting excited at the prospect of seeing a steam engine passing through a station - the years of dragging us to swap meets and steam exhibitions/museums seems to have left it's mark dad!
