Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
STEAM TRAIN AT ALLY PALLY STATION 21st APRIL
Heard about Bittern going through Ally Pally and thought i would try to get some photos. Couldn't go to platform as i hate open stairways so stood on bridge with fingers crossed.
attached are some photos as is went through from Kings Cross to York on its 9 day luxury tour of the country.

O M G!!! It's a Sir Nigel Gresley!!! Blue body, red wheels. Darn! I love steam so much and would definitely have been there to see her go through. In my opinion this is the most elegant of all the steam trains. That Dr. Beeching had a lot to answer for. Grrr! There's no chance of a repeat, I suppose?

Cracking photos, thanks. I saw the departure from Kings Cross and it's good to see Bittern steaming towards York and all points north on the nine day odyssey.
