St Ann's New Housing Development: Upcoming Events

You are invited to join us for a Peace & Wellness Festival at St Ann’s Hospital on Saturday 25 September. The event will run from 12pm – 6pm in the Peace Garden and Mayfield House.

By coming along, you can help us shape community and commercial uses for spaces at the St Ann’s New Neighbourhood and find out about the updated design proposals, as well as joining in with a fantastic day of activities led by local organisations and volunteers.

The day will include:

• Drumming 
• Storytelling 
• Nature workshops 
• Walking tours 
• Participatory art 
• Drawing 
• Poetry 
• Play
• Go Green activities 
• Local history 
• Dr Bike
• Face painting 
• Circus skills 

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase including pizza and ice-cream!

Design Workshops

As well as our Peace and Wellness Festival, we are holding our next Design Workshops in the coming months at Chestnuts Community Centre.

Design Workshop 3: New homes and appearance of neighbourhood

This workshop will focus on the look and feel of the new buildings and their relationship with the landscape, as well as taking a look at the interiors of the new homes.

Design Workshop 4: Management and community investment

This workshop will focus on the long-term management of the housing and green spaces, and opportunities for the community to get involved.
