Sponsored ride

I and my horse, Flamenco de Murcia, are doing a sponsored ride at RAF Halton on Sunday, 23rd March.  This regular event, which raises money for a list of charities (which can be found on this page: http://www.haltonride.org.uk/charities.html) is a good day out for all.  It is not just horseriding but all sorts of stalls and amusements and I would urge you to think about going there on 23rd, especially if you have children.  I am sure they will enjoy it enormously. 

The RAF generously opens its land to the public for the occasion and it generally raises a good chunk of extra spending money for all sorts of good causes.  I am posting this in the hope that you might consider sponsoring me in the ride, which I shall be doing side-saddle.  So far as I am planning, I do not intend to go round the course particularly quickly as Flamenco is very young, not particularly muscular, and should not be pushed too hard.  However he is up to the 7-mile course, provided he takes things relatively gently.

I attach a picture of me on Flamenco, winning third place in a dressage competition on 15th December in the London Equestrian Centre in Mill Hill.

I also attach the sponsorship form for the Halton Ride.  Contributors should put their details on their individual form and send it back to me.  The names do not all have to be on the same document.
