Special schools - petition to keep existing facilities open

I'm trying to gather signatures for a petition supporting special schools on behalf of the charity Rescare. Please could you click on the link below and if you are willing, please add your name.

Rescare is a national society for children and adults with a learning disability and their families, run by families for families. My mum and I have been working with Rescare for about 20 years (in our case, my elderly aunt has Down's Syndrome) and Rescare has been brilliant at campaigning to keep existing facilities in the UK open. Many families with a relative who has a very severe learning disability simply couldn't manage without special schools, their facilities and wonderful staff.
The petition closes on 31 January. It currently has over 400 signatures, but we'd like to be closer to the 1000 mark if we can. If you are willing, please sign up and forward the details to anyone you think might .
