South Harringay School Summer Fair - Books etc
Hi. South Harringay School summer Fair is on Saturday 15th june. If you have any books or CDs to donate, please leave them at the Children's Centre reception on the Passageway between Mattison & Pemberton Road or let me know through this site. We will be selling books for every age (0-101) on any subject. We normally get a fine array so please sort out your unwanted books and help the local schools. Any stock left over is passed on to North Harringay.

You might want to check out your local Freegle Group - ilovefreegle.org is a UK online based forum non-profit voluntary recycling/reuse charity with only one goal 'To Stop Good Stuff Going to Landfill' and in doing that support our local communities. Freegle actively encourage Schools, Clubs, Community Groups, Charities, non-profits, Colleges, and many more who can apply to join to get the resources they need completely free of charge. There's no money involved in being part of the Freegle Community it's free to join and free to use. There are groups in your area if you go to the ilovefreegle.org website you'll see who we are and what we're trying to achieve and you can use the 'Find a Group' link which will bring up all of the groups in your area. Freegle is committed to keeping it local. You will need a Yahoo ID since Freegle is run on Yahoo Groups since we have no regular funding. You can ask for or offer just about anything so long as it's free and legal.
You can join as an individual or as a group. Members can also offer and/or request broken white or electrical goods someone might be able to fix and use them or use for spares and repair it doesn't go to landfill it gets a new lease of life and you can post a request for a new washer or respond to an offer and when it breaks down put it back up and get another.
